Gujarat’s tennis champ Ankita Raina just turned a year older

Ahmedabad’s tennis champ Ankita Raina, who did India proud on numerous occasion in 2018, has started 2019 on a good note, as she played exceptionally well to win her first match of the year. Last year, apart from winning the bronze medal at the Asian Games, she also won the first WTA title of her career. At that time, she had told us, “For a sportsperson, there is no place for complacency. I will try and work harder, and the aim is to break into the top 150 of world rankings as soon as I can.” Here’s wishing Ankita a very happy birthday!
