Following the defeat, social media was flooded with jokes, memes, and claims that Trump's appearance at Madison Square Garden had somehow "jinxed" the team. The loss ended the Knicks' impressive 13-game playoff winning streak and cut their NBA Finals series lead to 2-1 heading into Game 4.
