Beyond Fishermen exhibition

Praveen Rengaraj, tea planter and tea taster by profession, launched of his second solo photo exhibition, titled Beyond Fishermen, in Fort Kochi. Praveen feels that every fisherman is a direct extension of nature. “Fisherfolk begin their day singing and whistling and radiating positivity. They move with the hope that the seas provide. Their radiant fishing boats reflect the fisherman’s attitude to life. My primary aim as a photographer is to draw attention to the idea that we have fishermen around us in every water body and yet at times we fail to notice them,” said Praveen.
