Poet Anamika Jain Amber, a poet and an ardent supporter of PM Narendra Modi has alleged that she was stopped from performing at the cultural event of the Sonpur Mela. in Bihar. The poet claimed that her name was removed from the list of performers at the last moment at behest of authorities. The Bihar government has rejected the charge, saying she was not invited to recite her poetry at the event.
