Ambulance stopped for Minister’s visit to Encephalitis-hit Muzaffarpur hospital

An ambulance was stopped to make way for Bihar’s Health Minister Mangal Pandey entering a hospital in Muzaffarpur. The minister is in Muzaffarpur visiting hospitals as almost 50 children have died due to an outbreak of Encephalitis. This seems to show the level of medical apathy prevalent in the state as even the Health Minister is stopping ambulances for his travelcade.
