24-year-old Shivam Bhardwaj is originally from Meerut. He recently went viral on Instagram after uploading a Reel in which he was wearing a skirt and doing a ramp walk in a Mumbai local train. After that he has come to be known as 'the man in the skirt'. Shivam also likes putting on make-up. He feels that it should not be considered that make-up is for women alone. Shivam who is a part of the LGBTQ community, also identifies as a gay man and supports gender neutrality. Adopting this kind of a lifestyle was not easy for Shivam. He recalls that his father even asked him to leave home when he was just 19. But he says his mother has always been supportive. The thing he loves the most is creating fashion content, and his family has also come around and supports him now. Shivam says that skirts were always meant for men also to wear. He says that men in Scotland and France used to wear skirts widely, and now if women can wear a pant-suit, then why shouldn't men wear skirts .
