In the Virar hospital tragedy incident, the Maharashtra Govt lodged FIR against the hospital management, doctors & employees. Fifteen COVID-19 patients were killed in a fire that swept through the intensive care unit of Vijay Vallabh Hospital in Virar, 50 km from Mumbai, early on Friday. The tragedy comes less than a month after a fire in a hospital at Bhandup in Mumbai led to the death of nine Covid-19 patients.
