Uddhav Thackeray to take oath as CM of Maharashtra today

Uddhav Thackeray to be sworn in as Chief Minister of Maharashtra on November 28 at 06:40 pm at the Shivaji Park ground in Mumbai. Uddhav Thackeray has been named as the leader of the Maha Vikas Aghadi, an alliance of Shiv Sena, Congress and the NCP. Not having adequate MLAs to prove its majority in the assembly, Fadnavis resigned on Tuesday barely 4 days after taking oath for the second term as CM of Maharashtra. Fadnavis' resignation followed after his deputy Ajit Pawar's resignation. Ajit returned to NCP after much persuasion by the Pawar family.
