Three, including doctor couple, sentenced to 10 years in illegal abortion case

The Beed district court has sentenced 3 people, including a doctor couple, to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment in an illegal abortion case. The convicted were given the jail term when a patient admitted to their hospital died due to excessive bleeding. The couple had also been convicted in the sex determination case.
