A good response was witnessed to the ante-natal checkup (ANC) special camp organized at NMC Urban Primary Health Centre in Nagpur on May 19. Over 100 women visited the camp and gave their swab samples for Covid testing. The women from Parvati Nagar area were mainly intended to benefit from the camp but others from as far as Manish Nagar came as well. This led to a huge rush at Manavata High School where the camp was put up. Asha workers and health workers are playing an important part in such camps which are being organized by NMC Health Departments in containment areas of all the 10 Zones in Nagpur to protect pregnant women from Covid-19.
