Navi Mumbai: Excavator hits Morbe dam pipeline, lakhs of litres of water wasted

Lakhs of litres of water has been wasted after the main pipeline of the Morbi dam that supplies water to Navi Mumbai burst near the Sion-Panvel highway. The pipeline burst after it was accidently hit by an excavator, leading to a 30-feet high fountain of water.
