30 Nepalese migrant workers living in Nagpur leave for their native villages. Most of them were working as ‘Chinese’ cooks, were stranded for over two months following the announcement of Covid-19 lockdown. Due to lockdown they had no earnings and ran out of their savings. These migrant workers were desperately trying to leave the city for the last one month but found no help. An NGO ‘Koshish Foundation’, arranged for their passes and permission to ensure their bus crosses several states. The NGO provided them with enough food, water, snacks, sanitisers to last for two weeks. They will be dropped at Indo-Nepal border in Sanauli. From there they will reach their villages.
