Nagpur: 25-year-old murdered by gang of goons on new year eve

Shortly before the intervening midnight of 2019, 25-year-old Akash Waghmare was stabbed to death by a gang of goons in Nagpur. The incident took place in the sensitive area of Indira Nagar. The violent goons, who flaunt themselves as ‘D gang’ included two former murder accused. The goons were creating a ruckus when Waghmare stepped out to confront them and lost his life in the following altercation. Later, the goons assaulted another man named Suraj Barmate and his family in a drunken brawl. Imambada police have registered two separate offences for murder and attempt to murder, they have arrested two of the accused till now.
