Mumbai: Overcrowding at NESCO Vaccination Centre in Goregaon due to shortage of doses

Queues at the NESCO jumbo centre swelled on Thursday. Vaccinations have been halted at several hospitals in Mumbai due to unavailability of doses. The Maharashtra government has complained of a shortage of vaccines, however, the Centre termed the complaints as "a deplorable attempt to divert attention from the failures of the state government and spread panic among people". Meanwhile, crowds are continuing to build at various vaccination centres across the city amid confusion over the availability of jabs. (Video: Uma Kadam/BCCL)
