An incident of fire was reported in the luggage compartment of Shalimar LTT express at 8:43 am near Nashik in Maharashtra on November 05. The luggage compartment has been detached from the train. Passenger compartments are unaffected. Chief Public Relations Officer, Central Railway, Mumbai informed that the luggage compartment which was next to the engine has been detached from the train and soon the train will restart safely. He said, “The luggage compartment/Parcel van which was next to the engine has been detached from the train and soon the train will restart safely. The reason for the fire is not yet established.”
