Maharashtra MP Shrikant Shinde arrested for throwing ink at forest officer

MP Shrikant Shinde from the Kalyan constituency in Maharashtra was arrested for throwing ink at senior Forest Officer. This happened after a heated argument wherein the official’s office was also vandalised by a group of over 100 Shiv Sena workers. They were all protesting against the alleged inaction in probing a case where saplings planted by Shinde were burned.
