Union Road Transport and Highway Minister Nitin Gadkari, while addressing the sixth National Summit on Financial Inclusion, said that he will soon drive a car that runs on green hydrogen. Gadkari also said that he has a plan to run buses, trucks, and cars on green hydrogen. The union minister said, “I have a plan to run buses, trucks, and cars on green hydrogen that would be produced using sewage water and solid waste in cities. I have bought a car that would run on green hydrogen produced in an oil research institute in Faridabad,” he added.
