Have a Green Diwali! NGO conducts eco-friendly campaign

Diwali is a festival of lights not smoke. Supporting the same, Nagpur’s Green Vigil has started a eco-friendly campaign appealing the citizens to say no to crackers and celebrate a green Diwali, in a bid to raise awareness against mounting of pollution level during the festival. The volunteers of Green Vigil had awareness placard which had slogans written on them. They spoke to people and passers-by and requested them to say no to crackers at Shankar Nagar Square and later at Variety Square.
