Activist Trupti Desai booked for assault

Police booked women rights' activist and social worker Trupti Desai, her husband Prashant, and two others under the Atrocity Act and other offences for allegedly manhandling and robbing valuables of a social worker from Ahmednagar on June 27. Desai has denied allegations saying the complaint is fake.
