72nd Independence Day: Italian nationals recite Gayatri Mantra, Vande Mataram

A group of Italian nationals took part in the mass recital of Gayatri Mantra and Vande Mataram at a programme organised on the occasion of India's 72nd Independence Day. The programme was held at the Sakkardara Square in Nagpur where a large number of school and college students took part. The mass recital event was organised by Matrubhumi Pratisthan to celebrate ‘Akhand Bharat Sankalp Diwas.’ At the programme, people from different walks of life were also felicitated for their contribution to society.
