Uttar Pradesh advocates end strike after state government accepts demands
Uttar Pradesh advocates, previously on strike protesting police action, have concluded their strike following negotiations between the state government and the Bar Council. SDG (Law and Order) Prashant Kumar stated that the government carefully considered the advocates' demands. The suspended police inspector will face disciplinary action, and the FIR related to the incident will be withdrawn. Additionally, a committee comprising Bar Council members will address the lawyers' requests. SDG Prashant Kumar appealed to all lawyers to resume work.
