Uttar Pradesh: 6 cops served notice for shouting 'Jayant Chaudhary zindabad' slogan

UP police constables have been served notices after they were purportedly seen in a viral video whooping and cheering and shouting the slogan "Jayant Chaudhary zindabad" while dancing to patriotic songs. The six constables are deployed in Rampur district jail. Jail superintendent Prashant Maurya said responses from the six cops are being sought and action would be taken after verification of facts. A report will be submitted to IG prisons, Lucknow, he added. The constables, said, "none of us support any political party".
