UP Home Dept to provide ‘more resources, man power to ATS’

Additional Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Home Department, Awanish K Awasthi on July 12, said that more resources and man power will be provided to the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). The raids are underway across the State. Uttar Pradesh is a sensitive state”. Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad on Sunday busted Al-Qaeda's terror module in Lucknow and arrested two terrorists.The arrested persons identified as Minhaz Ahmad (30) and Maseeruddin (50) were planning to conduct a blast in Lucknow and surrounding areas before August 15.
