UP: Cop publicly thrashes truck driver, suspended after video goes viral

A sub-inspector publicly thrashed a truck driver on March 18 for parking his vehicle on the wrong side of a road in UP's Agra. The cop was suspended by Mathura SSP after the video of the incident went viral. In the viral video, the SI can be seen brutally thrashing the truck driver. Police said that SI Mohit Kumar was suspended after the matter was found correct during an inquiry conducted by circle officer, Govardhan. He said that a departmental inquiry has also been marked against him.
