Ahead of assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party candidate Nahid Hasan from Kairana has been arrested under the gangster act. Nahid Hasan, who had a notorious past, has been sent to 14 days of judicial custody. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav slammed BJP for the arrest of Nahid Hasan in a tweet saying that BJP is not winning in the upcoming elections and this arrest shows that BJP is desperate.
