Speaking to ANI on April 20, wife of Umesh Pal, who was killed in Prayagraj, Jaya Pal shared that she is satisfied with police action and STF team. Adding further, she informed that she is not asking for the CBI inquiry, the police administration is doing good work. Slain gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his son and wife among other were allegedly involved in killing of lawyer Umesh Pal, key witness in BSP MLA Raju Pal’s murder case. She said, “I’m satisfied with the action of the Police and STF. I’m not asking for the CBI inquiry, Police administration is doing good work. We all are scared and are not leaving out of the house as the situation is not good. I believe in Police administration and want to meet CM Yogi Adityanath.”
