In a shocking case of medical apathy, a doctor in Etawah left towel inside a patient’s belly after operation. The surgeon in government district hospital was operating the womb of the woman when he left the towel inside her stomach. The case came to light when the woman started complaining of pain in her stomach to which the doctor referred her to a private nursing home where she had to go through another operation to remove towel from her stomach. The woman is bleeding continuously since her last operation.
