In a shocking incident, a youth was allegedly set afire by a group of youths in Hussainganj police station area. The victim, identified as Shani, was allegedly set afire over a dispute on betting in an IPL cricket match. The kin of the victim alleged that the miscreants doused Shani in petrol or some inflammable substance and set him afire at the behest of a corporator after a brawl over betting money dispute. The victim was rushed to Civil Hospital in a critical condition.
