Lord Ram's birthplace Ayodhya to get bullet train connectivity

Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram will get bullet train connectivity. The spiritual town will be part of the Delhi-Varanasi bullet train corridor. The project will also connect Mathura, Prayagraj, Agra, Kanpur, Etawah, Lucknow, Raebareli and Bhadohi apart from Jewar airport. Sources said the Delhi-Varanasi bullet train project will be more challenging than the Ahmedabad-Mumbai project. This is because the Delhi-Varanasi route covers mixed terrains including densely populated areas.
