A strange case of a honeytrap has come forth in Kanpur, where a dismissed constable used to honeytrap businessmen and officials through his niece. The constable's niece used to demand lakhs of rupees from the victims after registering the FIR of rape.Ravindra, being a constable also works as a trader of Morang. The constable became friends with Morang businessman Harishchandra and borrowed two and a half lakh rupees from him. When Harishchandra asked the constable to return the money he honey-trapped the businessman by leading his niece. After this, The constable along with his niece lodged an FIR of rape. After being released from jail, the businessman revealed the misdeeds of the gang. The charge sheet, in this case, has been filed in court. Further action is being taken soon.
