Additional director general of police Prashant Kumar and ADG of Special Task Force Amitabh Yash were honored on 26 January for their excellent work. On this occasion, DGP DS Chauhan honored both the officers by giving them a pistol along with citation and wished them a bright future. Along with this, the DGP appreciated the work done so far by Prashant Kumar and Amitabh Yash. Prashant Kumar took command of the state's law and order and lived up to the trust of the government. On the other hand, under the leadership of Amitabh Yash, the special task force could clamp down on the criminals. All the dreaded criminals were either killed in an encounter or were arrested and sent behind bars.
