The Moradabad Police has debunked the reports of alleged “mass exodus” of several Hindu families from a locality and described it an attempt to “harm the communal harmony”. As per reports, 81 families of Shiv Mandir colony in Moradabad’s Lajpat Nagar have put up posters outside their homes, declaring that their houses are on sale. Now police and local administration is in action and visited the area and discussed the situation with residents.Residents were demanding cancellation of registery by administration of few houses being purchased on higher prices by particular community but administration has denied to do so District administration has assured safty and security to all While some reports claimed that the families decided to migrate from the colony as they are being harassed by people of other community by throwing waste of meat in front of their houses.
