Flower exhibition marks Malviya’s birth anniversary celebration

Flower exhibition became the centre of attraction at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The fragrance of hundreds of flowers filled up the Malviya Bhawan premises of Banaras Hindu University during the Malviya Memorial Flower Exhibition. The Banaras Hindu University has organised a series of activities on the campus to celebrate the birth anniversary of its illustrious founder, Bharat Ratna Mahamana Pt Madan Mohan Malviya. A three-day flower show was inaugurated by the Rector, Prof. VK Shukla in Malviya Bhawan on Sunday. The horticulture in-charge Prof Anand Kumar Singh said that a total of 638 participants took part in the flower show, which displayed around 7,936 exhibits in different groups. The exhibition will remain open till 6 pm on December 27.
