Art being the reflection of society, the pandemic is forming the theme for artists in Banaras .The artists are using their work to spread the message of being safe in such a scenario.Prof Suresh K Nair, Assistant Professor ,Faculty of Visual Arts has depicted the angst and tension of living under this health threat caused by the virus..Saurabh Srivastava, a student of Faculty of Visual Arts, BHU, inspired by the current scenario has created some of his work. Akash Kesari, a fine arts student , Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith has made a rangoli to urge people to stay indoors during the lock down. Shalini Singh, a student of Faculty of Visual Arts,BHU, has used the lock down period to create work suggesting people to remain safe. Brij Kumar, a student of sculpture, BHU has shown in his work how the entire world is in the grip of this health scare.
