A violent altercation broke out between students and security guards at Gautam Buddha University within the hostel premises, resulting in a violent altercation. The confrontation between the two groups turned intense, leading to injuries sustained by 15 students. The injured individuals have been admitted to a hospital in Noida. Police authorities have taken 33 individuals into custody at the scene. According to the police, the incident began when a student was found smoking a cigarette. Clashes started as the hostel security guard tried to stop him.
