Attackers were disguised as mediapersons, carried video camera: UP Police on Atiq Ahmad’s killing

Prayagraj Police Commissoner Ramit Sharma said that the attackers had disguised as mediapersons and came near to take byte. They then fired from close range. The police said that one media person got injured and one policeman received bullet injury. Seventeen policemen have been suspended for the lapse, UP Police said later. The UP govt has also announced a judicial inquiry into the incident.
