TMC leader Nussrat Jahan on May 22 said that if BJP, and Congress come to seek votes in the upcoming panchayat election, they will be chased with bamboo. While addressing the event, Nussrat Jahan said, “Whichever Opposition party (BJP, Congress) in panchayat election comes to seek votes, they will be chased with bamboo. They do nothing for West Bengal. 2023 panchayat elections will sink completely.” “We don’t believe in double-engine government,” he added. Panchayat elections in the state will be held in mid of this year.
