West Bengal assembly polls: Bus meant for EC staff torched in Purulia

Violence broke out in West Bengal's Purulia ahead of the first phase of polling in the state. Bus returning after dropping the EC staff was set ablaze in the district. According to reports, when the empty vehicle was returning, three men came out of the forest and set the bus ablaze after spraying chemicals over it. Polling will take place in 8-phase in the state and votes will be counted on May 2.
