WB: Devotees take holy dip in Ganga in South 24 Parganas on Makar Sankranti

On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, thousands of devotees and seers took a holy dip in River Ganga at Gangasagar in South 24 Parganas of West Bengal on January 14. Makar Sankranti is a festival in the Hindu calendar, in which devotees make offerings to the deity Surya.
