Watch: Rath Yatra celebrations in Kolkata

The Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath was held in Kolkata amid tight security. A sea of devotees thronged the grand Rath Yatra to pay obeisance to Lord Jagannath in the City of Joy. Rath Yatra is also known as Chariot festival and is mainly celebrated in Odisha’s Puri, where the 12th century temple of Lord Jagannath is located. Every year, millions of devotees across the country take out a grand procession with a chariot carrying Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra.
