The Leader of the Opposition in West Bengal, Suvendu Adhikari led a foot march from the State Assembly to the Mahatma Gandhi statue on the occasion of Gandhi's birth anniversary. Alongside BJP MLAs, he paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi. During the march, Adhikari criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee for alleged corruption and called for action against them. He also raised concerns about the erosion of democratic rights in Bengal, highlighting the need to address this issue.
