Devotees offered ‘Pind Daan’ at Prinsep Ghat on the last day of ‘Pitru Paksha’ in Kolkata on September 25. They took a holy dip in Hooghly River. Pitru Paksha is a 16–lunar day period in Hindu calendar when Hindus pay homage to their ancestors
