CPI(M)’s youth wing DYFI and students wing SFI held a rally at Kolkata’s Esplanade to seek justice for student leader Anis Khan who died under mysterious circumstances in February. Hundreds of CPI(M) supporters attend rally to seek justice for Anis Khan. Anis Khan’s family alleges that he was thrown from the third floor of their house by men in police uniform and civil volunteers. The police, however, say that Khan accidentally fell and died. The state govt has formed an SIT, but family wants CBI to probe the case. The family has also blamed a local TMC leader for threatening them with further harm.
