National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) Chairperson Priyank Kanoongo took cognisance of the alleged gang rape and murder of a minor Dalit girl in Dinajpur. NCPCR Chief Priyank Kanoongo met the victim’s family. While speaking to ANI, Priyank Kanoongo said, “We have met the victim’s family, relatives and villagers. We have considered all their points. Now, we will talk to the investigation officers. We will be verifying all the facts with police and doctors.”
