Kerala gold scam: NIA registers a case under UAPA and files charge sheet

The NIA has registered a case under UAPA in the Kerala gold smuggling case. The scam was unearthed after 30kgs of gold worth more than 14 crores was recovered from Swapna Suresh. The case took a serious turn when Kerala CM Vijayan's principal secretary M. Sivasankar was detained. NIA has now filed a charge sheet on various ministers related to the Kerala government.
