Rojo Thomas, the brother of Roy Thomas, one of the victims in the Koodathayi serial murders, has made a sensational claim in the case. Rojo said that the accused Jolly Joseph tried to kill my sister and there was immense pressure on him to withdraw the case. Rojo had filed the civil case against Jolly alleging forgery of documents to illegally grab the property owned by Tom Thomas, Rojo’s father and Jolly’s father-in-law. Rojo said that the case was moving in the right direction and he has full faith in the investigation team. 'The departed souls and the living ones should get justice,' he said. It is learned that the special investigation team (SIT) may approach the court seeking to extend the custody of Jolly for a few more days. Police have registered five more cases related to the deaths of Annamma Thomas, Tom Thomas, Mathew Manchadi, Alphine and Sily.
