Union minister V Muraleedharan hits back at Samastha Kerala on the circular issued against watching the football world cup. While rejecting the instruction of the Muslim organisation, V Muraleedharan said this type of activity is heard in countries where Taliban-type governance is prevalent and India is not a country that runs on religious diktats. V Muraleedharan also instructed the government to look into the matter and to make sure that such people are not getting the support of those who are in power. “Kerala should not become breeding ground for religious fundamentalism. Government should take necessary action against those activities,” he told ANI.
