floral paradise
Jayashree Rajan started has built her flower garden over seven years in her eight-floor apartment in Sasthamangalam, Thiruvananthapuram. Her terrace balcony has one section landscaped as a cottage garden and the other one as an ethnic Buddha garden. “Usually, people here have green gardens, because it is difficult to maintain a flower garden as it needs a lot of care,” says the wife of V Rajan Nair, a retired Indian Forest Service officer. “I had absolutely no knowledge of gardening; even my sister is amazed when she sees the garden I have created. I truly believe that God puts us on a certain path.”
