As Congress presidential election is nearing, the buzz of change in leadership is growing in the state. It is believed that Sachin Pilot may replace Ashok Gehlot for the top post. Congress MLAs, who are loyalists to Ashok Gehlot have expressed dissent and took pot shots at Sachin Pilot. They want Gehlot to continue as the chief minister even if he becomes the Congress' national president. Just hours ahead of the crucial Congress Legislature Party meeting in Jaipur on Sunday evening, Gehlot himself indicated that a new generation should get a chance to be at the helm. Supporters of Sachin Pilot are upbeat that the young leader will soon be heading the state. Posters carrying quotes such as 'Naye Yug ki Taiyari' (preparing for a new era) in support of Pilot have surfaced in Jodhpur.
