Alwar lynching case victim Rakbar Khan's postmortem report has revealed that he died of shock as a result of ante-mortem injuries sustained. The report further added that he suffered 13 injuries. His ribs, left leg and hand were found broken. For the last few years lynching cases are on the rise. Between 2014 to 2018 45 persons have been killed in 40 cases across 9 states. The central government issued a stern warning to WhatsApp for not being able to stop fake information. The government has set up a 4 member committee to recommend a possible legal framework to deal with such incidents. The government's move comes after the Supreme Court rapped the government. Alwar mob lynching issue was raised in both the houses of Parliament. A group of men on Saturday allegedly thrashed 28-year-old Akbar to death in Alwar district on suspicion of cow smuggling.
